The Super Shuttle is a brand NEW Rural Supply pumper tanker with major fire attack capabilities. It is built on a new Spartan or HME chassis (formerly on a remanufactured chassis—see photo above) with a new aluminum body that features multiple full height cabinets. It has a 2500-3000 gallon polypropylene tank and a new or totally rebuilt 1250-1500 gpm pump specially plumbed to deliver enormous volumes of water (1250-1500 gpm) from the tank. The apparatus also has a special high-speed 4" direct tank fill in the rear, a new NFPA hose bed with aluminum floor, and two or three 10" Newton dumps built in special high-speed dump sumps (1900 gpm dump rate). The apparatus also has an ultra-fast, preconnected drafting capability that can be operated by one fire fighter.
